I have an iBookg4, and I was just given a 19 inch monitor. I want to use both as SEPERATE screens, I hook it all up and they both come up as the same screen. OK. The problem is when I go to the system preferences and click displays, there is no option to change the settings for adding different screen (i.e.-use 2 as seperate monitors). The only options it gives me is to change the color and the resolution. I have talked to my boss at work and he uses a powerbook and does this all the time (using 2 screens seperately, and the option in his display preferences is there). Any help on this is appreciated. I really want to use this nice screen I have.

Why don't iBooks and iMacs have support for a second, non-mirrored display?

Use the Search again

General opinion is that it would make them too close to the Powerbook line, even though it's VGA and not DVI on the i-range.
