Hello,

I'm trying to add 2 small video clips (< 30 secs) taken from a digicam to my itunes library so I can sync them with my ipod touch. (I have a windows PC, by the way)

I've tried the whole "add file to library" procedure and it hasn't worked, when I do it I can't find the files anywhere in my library, so I'm thinking that maybe the clips are in some format that isn't compatible with itunes.

When I'm viewing the files in windows and right click them to view the properties, here are some of the specs:

Type of file: video clip (avi)
opens with: windows media player

are avi clips not compatible with itunes?

Any suggestions are appreciated :)

Nevermind, I figured it out. But for all those who are curious:

Use the software Handbrake to convert the file to one compatible with itunes. I just used the iphone/ipod touch preset settings, and I'm good to go.
