Hi all,

I am a freelancer so use my own personal MacBook Pro for work. It is synced to my personal iCloud account. I am currently freelancing and when I work in a new studio I somehow need to get the details of their contacts from their address book into my own address book (without losing my own content). I am happy to add all of their contacts but don't want to risk deleting mine or to have to transfer manually - there's over 700 contacts.

Can anyone help please?

How would you be getting their address book, via an export?

Looks as if an import would replace your address book. Maybe if you setup a different user with a different iCloud account you could use that. Just wipe all of the contacts when you move to a new studio and import the new studios contacts.

There would be the inconvenience of having to logout/login/logout/login but you would at least have access to the data.

Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately that just won’t work. I will be working in my laptop and will just need to grab an email address or login details from the studio address book and then use them. To log in to another iCloud account would be way too inefficient use of my time....
