Hi!

I have added an external DVD burner to my Powermac G5 and for some strange reason, OS X seems to think that this external drive is now the primary DVD drive. Is there a way to switch it? I.e. the built-in Superdrive as primary drive and the external as secondary?

Thank you.

What do you mean by the primary drive? I don't think Mac OS really chooses a "primary" and "secondary" disk drive...

Turn it off and it won't be reconized or go into system profiler and look at the device tree and see which is listed. I know that using Toast this would happen and you could select one to be the primary but not since using OS9 have I had to do this in the profiler
