adding app folders

is there anyway to add an app folder that shows on the home screen where you can put different things like games in one and setting in others

No. No folders on iPhone. What I did was to organize apps by their functions on different pages. Games get on page, utilities another, webpages/webapps another, misc another, etc.

yes you can. at least for jailbroken phones. Categories app lets you do this. if you're on 2.0, new updated version should be out soon enough.
