Trying to figure out a way to add an artist's full discography to My Music. Is the only way to do this album by album? If so this is pretty ridiculous. Can;t figure out any other way to do it and can't find any info/directions online anywhere.

Anyone?

Came here for the same thing. Having to drill into an Album, click Add to my Music, then go back up one level, drill down again, is just silly. The GUI in iTunes for this is lacking Apple simplicity.

Recommendations are excellent, Stations (aside from Beats 1 and the annoying as **** DJ's) are excellent. But adding/finding things is sub-par compared to Spotify.

You can always click the ellipsis in album view and hit "add to music". Takes away the need to drill down then back up. But then I have to wait for various animations to college. Very annoying either way.

Yes, it might be nice to have an "Add to my music" option also in an artist's "three dot button" menu. However, for a more prolific artist, it becomes a bit of a problem, because those artists will also have a lot of best-of albums in their collection, or re-releases/remasters, etc. Also, some albums might not even belong to that artist (they might have ended up on the artist's page by mistake). You might end up adding a lot of stuff to your library that you really don't want.

As an example, I just checked the "Albums" listing for Toto. They have released 14 albums so far, plus one live album, but there are 28 albums listed. The rest are compilations, duplicated items, singles that for some reason appear as albums and stuff from other musicians. I wouldn't want that kind of mess to be added automatically to my library.

So unless Apple decided to human-curate the discography for every single artist in their catalogue, this will not work.

I'd rather delete albums I don't want than manually have to add them one by one. I get your point tho, I just think the alternative is better option. Either way we're screwed!

I only have "Share" under the ellipsis in Album view? Same as next to the artist name. I have to actually click on an Album title which brings up a page just for that album, then I get the options to add to My Music. But you have to go back using the buttons, select another album, repeat.
