Adding Contacts with an iPad2 iOS5

Could some one please tell me the easiest way to add contacts on the iPad2 without using a computer or iphone. Maybe there is something I'm missing, but I would appreciate the help. Thank you in advance!

Are you referring to "Contacts"? When I click Contacts there was a "+" sign, however, it is not there with iOS5.

The actual contacts app. The + is there to add new contacts.

It is not showing up on my iPad2, it's the weirdest thing.
