Hey all

I was wondering if anyone could help me with this..

A friend of mine is going to be shooting some photos for research purposes and will need some way to correlate the photos with their location (i.e. GPS).

I was wondering if there was any kind of accessory or something which would add the GPS location onto the EXIF? (Or failing that, do any DSLR's actually have GPS capability?)

Thanks

Nikon allows for connection of a GPS in its upper-level cameras (D2 series, D3, D300, D200) and the data shows up the EXIF file. It requires a special cable and can be hooked up to certain GPS units. Don't know about the other brands.

Looks like a great idea. They seem to be having a little trouble getting it to market, however. It was announced first at PMA in 2007...still not available.
