Hello,
I just downloaded the iglassol theme from cydia, it wasn't the original. I activated it in winterboard, I was wondering some of my icons didn't change, like my Messages and my Voice Memos icon. I think I read somewhere that certain themes if they were created before 3.0 a lot of times won't have icons for certain apps, so like voice memos app since it came with the 3.0 update, a lot of themes won't have an icon for it. I had a couple of questions regarding getting additional icons for a theme. One question I have is my iglassol doesent have an icon for weather, I was wondering if that was normal? I also downloaded iglassol overlay in cydia, which is supposed to add icons. I wondered if the original iglassol had a weather icon, I have a 3gs and I thought the newer iglassol would be better suited for me.
I found a thread on the picnic theme on macthemes, where people could request icons and post icons they had made, for example someone had made a picnic voice memos icon. I had ssh'd a theme with additional icons onto my phone and had been slowly adding icons I found from the thread.
I wondered if anyone knew of something similar for iglassol?
I even am thinking of buying Photoshop and try to make some of my own icons. In the picnic thread they had a link for a picnic icon template. I wondered how that works, is a template for Photoshop like a generic icon? Like for picnic it is an image of chip, that you could somehow import into Photoshop and then manipulate the image? i.e. change the color, alter it to suit the icon you are trying to make? Any help would be appreciated.

Some themes won't change certain icons, so you have to do it manually. There are a few different ways to do it. You can ssh into your phone, find the app that you want to change and drag and drop your new icon in (make sure it's named correctly), or follow one of the steps below. A psd file will give you a template to manipulate in photoshop, that is correct. Here's a pic of what a template looks like...

Here's a couple f screen shots I took from another site that had a write up to help change icons, as well.
