Adding .me to Mail.app

OK, so I think I may have a problem here, no doubt caused by my own stupidity. Awhile back, I deleted my old "official" .Mac e-mail auto set up in Mail, because the 60 days ran out and I didn't use .Mac. Now, I have set up a new MobileMe account, but can't figure out how to actually add the thing to Mail. Apple says it should auto add, but it isn't. And, adding it manualy dosn't work-- the IMAP/SMTP defaults won't let it connect. Any tips/help?

Wait until MobileMe is officially launched! I'm in the same boat, all registered up and can use web stuff, but until they release the software update, you can't do anything.
