I have an iPod mini synced to my iMac. Now i will be away from home along with my mac book pro but i want to be downloading more music from it. Is is possible using me mbpro to put those new mp3s to the ipod or can this only be done from my imac syncing with itunes?

I didn't quite get what you said, can i or cant i add songs to my ipod without using itunes? Ipod is already synced to itunes but from a different computer (iMac), right now im with a mac book pro and i want to add songs to the ipod... is that possible?

You can use a program like Foola to add mp3 to your iPod. You can even copy the program to the iPod and run it from any computer.
