I have some audio files that are 10 hours long and 1gb each (not qualified for itunes match) that I used to have on my phone. After activating itunes match, it deleted them and now I can't load music to the phone though itunes. I disabled itunes match, successfully loaded the songs to the phone, but when I turn Match back on, it deletes everything. This is driving me nuts, how do I stop this?

iOS 10.02, newest itunes, and 6S+

It is an all or nothing proposition with iTunes Match. Consider using a third party music app that you can load your tracks into directly.

What kind of content is it? You could of course split the files in smaller ones and give them track numbers. You could also set the media kind to audiobook (audiobooks can still be synced if iCloud Music Library is used), but that may not appropriate if it is music.
