adding somthing to the dashboard...a folder...

i dont want to add a program, but a folder to the dash, as i often go to design sites and click and drag items i like to my desktop, only to later put them in a folder on the desktop. can i get a folder in the dashboard?

I don't think so unless you did some seriuos hacking. I don't really know...

Impossible. The dock was made for this (the right side of the divided line). Dashboard does not, and probably will never, support this, given the dock's ability to do this already.

The dock, however, will exactly this. The dock sits at the bottom of your screen by default. Perhaps you're confusing the dock and Dashboard, which is activated by hitting F12 by default.
