Hi Guys,

I've been looking at some pictures and kits online regarding the tutorial for adding the ssd drive. I want to keep my existing hard drive in place and use something similar to the OCW setup but i think its too expensive for what it is. I have a 27" 2010 imac.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/OWC-OWCDIY...=2010+ssd+kit&qid=1556197993&s=gateway&sr=8-6

Do i need to purchase the OCW kit or is there something similar i can buy cheaper? What type of sata cable is being used in the above link so i can add the second ssd drive? can i use a different type of cable or is OCW the only way?

thanks in advance!
