Im brand new to hacking, just added the installer yesterday for the first time. Ive added a few apps but something Im confused about is adding themes. I see Themes (apps), Themes (customize), and Themes (summerboard).

Is summerboard an app you have to install before installing themes? Or do you just install right out of that folder? And if it is a standalone app, where do you get it?

Excuse my ignorance. I have googled this but cant find the answer.

Just add all of the community sources and select "All apps" at the top of the list. Scroll down to the S's and you'll see Summerboard and Summerboard (Old). Install the first one.

Much appreciated. There is alot of stuff in that folder after installing community sources.

One thing that is annoying though is alot of the theme dont even work. Kinda sucks installing, only to find out it doesnt work, then having to uninstall. There a better source to use for themes then the one that comes in installer?

This is actually a small issue and easily fixable. The problem is the difference in the file layout between the new and old FW versions.

There is a patch in installer under Tweaks (1.1.3) called Summerboard Theme Fix or something along that line. Install that, restart your phone and all of your themes will be there.

Youre a good man :)

Thanks for the help again.
