Is there any way to import sound into GarageBand? I'm trying to do a Vocal Trance song, and the vocals are a rather important feature. I'm not very experienced, and have only made seven or-so tracks.

Youbetcha buddy!

Drag the sound file onto the garageband window :)
Should work with AIFF or Wav or probably even mp3 and Mp4
Also, plug a mike in and sing into a track- GREAT vocal quality-
good luck!

^bump^ (can't find page links... hmm...)

I'd also like to know how to fix damaged MP3 files. I downloaded a 4mb 'various vocal', 3-minute long, track that won't import into GarageBand (though it acts like it does), or MP3 Trimmer. MP3 Trimmer says it's damaged (and lists its 'location'), but GarageBand just acts like it's been imported.

Any ideas?
