I have a Mac at home, an iPhone and a PC at work and I use MobileMe. For the most part, I've been happy with it. It appears as though things have been keeping in sync just fine. But I just noticed that a contact I added a couple of weeks ago does not appear in my MobileMe address book when I check it online. I'm not at home, so I don't know if it's on my Mac or not. I tried changing the settings of my iPhone to allow Push-ing every 15 minutes (instead of manual) just to encourage an update, but no luck. How do I get my MobileMe to see the contact that's on my iPhone?

Is the contact settings on the mobileme under the iphone flipped on?

Go to Settings->Mail and Calendars->Your mobileme

Make sure its flipped to On there.

I just checked - everything is set to "On" there and has been.

Any other ideas? I've learned that there are four more contacts on my phone than there are in my laptop's address book. And since I do a bit of editing of my contacts directly on my iPhone, I have a feeling that there are probably edits that are missing. Perhaps this would explain why I feel like things like addresses are missing sometimes, when I was convinced I had added them.

Should one never make changes directly on the phone and just leave it as read-only?
