Hi,

I had my address book on mobileme. Not yet moved to iCloud. I upgraded to iOS 5, added the credentials for Mobile me and now mails, calendars are all set. but address book is empty. i checked it online and can see all the contacts in web version of the mobileme. But not on phone.

Anyone having same issues and also, anyone resolved this ??

I think you have to move it to iCloud before "mobile me" will work.

I had an existing mobile me account. I moved it to the cloud with little issues. It did take a couple of tries to get the transfer done. But once it was done, all of the info was there without a problem. Contacts and calendar worked fine.

Now that's an issue; During the transition, they are prompting me to have atleast one device that has the latest address book and bookmarks.

Iphone was that device. Other device is my macbook, but i am travelling and don't have access to it...

I think they just want to make sure you have a backup in case it all gets screwed up.

Maybe you can email yourself a backup copy of the contacts and bookmarks? I knew mine were in a backup on my Time Capsule so I just ignored that prompt and clicked "next".
