Hi everybody I just got a new Mac mini to replace the old one and all was well than all of a sudden when I want to foreword or send a new E-mail and I open the address book and click on a name it does not show up on the mail. So I can not send mail. Any help would be nice. :)

After you click on the name to highlight it, did you click on the "To" button up top?

Yes I talked to my son and he said Apple change it. It is now a pain in the butt but I can now send. Not a happy camper:mad:

They changed it so you can select either "To", "CC", or "BCC". Seems like a good thing. More important, most people never click the Address Book icon on a message anyway. Instead, they just start typing the name of the person in the address field of the message and let Mail generate a pick list (or find the only match). Have you tried it that way?

Yes that is the way I have to do it on my iPhone and don't care for it. I am a senior citizen and my mind does not work well so I forget to send it to a lot of people.

Your mind is working well to have posed the question clearly. :)

In your case, after you select the name in the Address Book list, just click whether you want To, CC, or BCC. Not much extra work and it gives you options.

Yes that will work, but I just like the old way better. It seems just when you learn something they go and change it.
