Got myself a new or refurbished iPhone X from service one month ago, took it out of the case to clean it and noticed something, maybe the adhesive coming out or something from near the power button, find it wierd since its been in a case the whole time, i also noticed that the olephobic coating is missing from some of the back glass, find it a bit wierd, should i bring it in or something?

I don't think the back glass has the oleophobic coating...? Do you have pictures??

The iPhone has only bean cleaned with a lint cloth, but why is the black adhesive goo coming out from the screen, near the poser button?

Replacements are refurbished. Quality is good but not as good as new.

It does. Keep in mind replacement phones are refurbished, so the quality isn’t always perfect.

I learned something new then! I've just noticed that water acts differently on the different glass surfaces. I've had to run my phone under water after spilling juice on it and the back glass didn't seem to repel water as nicely as the front does. I just assumed that the front glass had the coating.

So i shouldnt be woerried if its adhessive is leaking from the iPhone screen?

Dont see a reason if it still works, to much of a hastle to be without my phone for 3 weeks

My 6s replacement was as brand new, I also think that every Apple refurb is as new, unless you don't get it from Apple. Third party refurbished devices can have some issues.

They’re not new, they receive a new battery and chassis only.

If you don’t care about water resistance.

That's what I said. All of Apple's refurb receive new chasis, unless the old one is perfect looking. Third party ones often don't get the housing changed.
