Adjusting brightness in Control Center in iOS 11 seems very unintuitive - unnecessary animation of filling up which completely hides the Homescreen behind the blur, so you don't see how the Homescreen looks at a certain brightness level.
iOS 10 had a much better brightness control with a slider and top half of the screen was visible, so you could actually see how it looks. iOS 11 on the other hand has a full screen blur and the new filling up animation for brightness and volume looks ridiculous and seems to serve no purpose compared to a simple slider.

I shall agree here, you should be able to SEE the actual brightness translate to the page and not that full screen blur gimmick. They are getting too cute.

Also I noticed with this update it turns auto brightness on. I think of all the older folks who will experience their screen going down to 5% over and over again thinking their phone is broke.

Also the placement of the new brightness control is odd because now the Control Center takes up the full screen, so you tend to pull it down from somewhere in the middle instead of going all the way to the top to pull down the arrow and end up changing the brightness.
