anyone know how to access and adjust GPU settings?? Maybe this will help me with my choppy expose (only on battery power) issues. I am new to macs - just upgraded from macbook CD 2.0GHz to MBP C2D 2.13GHz.....funny thing, my macbok seemed much quicker, never had any choppy gpu issues. I mess with the graphics preferences quite often on my pc - for gaming, but have et to figure out how to do it on this MBP. THanks

The processor probably is slowed down quite a bit under battery power. At least, it is on my PowerBook G4... which is the latest system I have.

It's a setting in System Preferences, under "Energy Saver," click on the "Options" tab. You'll want to set this with your computer unplugged, of course, as it changes depending on whether or not your plugged in.

If it's still there anyway on the intel Macs, which I wouldn't know.
