Hello. Am slowly learning how to use my iPhone and iOS 13.5.x 😊

How do I change the short icons on my Desktop - or maybe you call it "Home"?

I would like to do a few things...

1.) Remove shortcuts that I don't use

2.) Move shortcuts to where I want, including which screen they show up on. (For example, I just purchased Filmic Pro, and I want that on the Desktop/Home right in the center so I can quickly turn on Filmic Pro to record video. Right now it is on like page 2.)

I sure hope this is possible, because for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to adjust things?!

Thanks.

Tap and hold on one of the icons to enter "jiggle" mode and then you can move them around or delete them.

This should help as well: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT200290

it’s probably worth mentioning that these are not shortcuts, but the app itself, so if you delete them you delete the app.

I would suggest you create a folder by going into jiggle mode and dragging one app you don’t use onto another, name the folder other or junk and then drag all the others you don’t use on to it.

Thanks for the warning!

How do I do that?

It seems that different apps give me different options when I go into "jiggle mode".

Is there a way to basically right-click and create a folder and then drag what I dn't want into that folder and ideally move it to page 2?

Really all I want on my Home page is: Settings, Camera, Photos, and Filmic Pro

If you go in jiggle mode and you drop one app on top of another app a folder is automatically created with those two apps in it. After that you can rename the folder in whatever you want and put other apps in that folder too.

The earlier linked support page at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT200290 has information about all of that.

I did it! 😬

OMG it is so complicated using the touch screen, but I'm getting better!

And then move the folder with all the apps you don’t want to page 2, in the same way you move an App.

Thanks for the help, guys! :apple::apple:
