I am struggling with Adobe Contribute to connect to one of my servers which has a different FTP connection port than the default port. I believe that Adobe Contribute uses the default port to try to connect to the website and is thus unable to connect. I wanted to change this port to what my server has. I cannot change server's port due to security reasons and other application reasons. And I could not find any settings within the Adobe Contribute to change that port.

Any insight on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks
AJ

I don't have Contribute so don't know how the preferences are setup, but if you can't find a setting for port, in the host/server names you can append a port number on the end:

servername.com:21

You can change 21 to whatever port number your server uses. I'm not completely sure if this will work through Contribute or not though, but worth a try.

Thanks a lot man, I am such a dork. Your solution works like a charm. Thanks once again. :)
