Does anyone have Adobe CS 6 and a Retina iMac? CS 6 was the last one you could get without going to the subscription model. I have CS 5.5 and it is not pleasant. From my limited testing, the main programs work fine, but the UI is really bad. Everything is pixelated. But, the worst part is your artwork is pixelated. It is really bad with text. It is even bad in Illustrator, which I thought would be ok since it is vector based. For some programs I could live with it, but these are design programs, and the design looks awful. It is difficult to design something when it looks bad no matter what. I realize these are older versions, but Apple has been recommending resolution independence for a while now.
So, would stepping up to CS 6 be any better?
I also use Lightroom 6 and that looks great - UI, photos, everything.
I really don't want to be stuck with the never-ending subscription deal. Though Adobe would love it I'm sure.
