Adobe CS4 can't install on my mac mini

Hi guys, really need your help on how to settle this.I am trying to install Adobe CS4 on my mini, but on the way that it will checking its system profile, this would always appear:

I installed same on my other units with no problems at all,but on my mini it seems it can't.

I hope someone could help me on this.TIA!

We had a similar weird install issue with CS4 here.

Have you contacted Adobe yet? Their really nice people to work with.

To fix our issue, we had to install the trial version first, then enter the serial numbers and activate.

Possibly try that. I don't know at what time the installer is checking for licensing, but doing the trial install will let you know if it's the software or a licensing problem.

Earlier version of the Creative Suite prompted you to activate at some point at the end of the install. CS4 just goes ahead and does it.

On one workstation, yes. That was the Adobe supplied workaround.

The other workstations were all fine.

So by installing the trial version,you have succesfully installed also the the authentic one?

Yes. Installing the trial version installs everything that the purchased installer would. You just have 30 days to convert it to a paid license by inputting a valid serial number.

Install -> Open the applications once -> enter serial number(s) to covert trial software to paid, licensed, activated software

You could try creating another admin account and install it using that. I had a similar adobe issue with elements a few years ago.
