I have one request: 64-bit apps.

I think it's a hopeful sign that one of the brief video links is of a fellow hoping for 64-bit capability. I don't think Adobe would have included that were 64-bit not a part of CS5.

The software will be announced on the 12th, but I do not believe that the software will be shipping on that day.

Interesting to note that the countdown timer on that page is made using javascript, not flash...

I want a new MBP and CS5 around the same time, so come on, Apple! What takes so long?!

Although it's good news for sure, I won't be handing over my pay cheque to Adobe for a while yet. I have 3 big projects coming up and I don't want to chance any errors or bumps in the road so I will stick with CS4 until I see how others are taking to CS5.

Im very happy with CS4 right now, I just hope CS5 isn't like what Final Cut Studio 3 is to Final Cut Studio 2, you know, an update that could have easily been MUCH cheaper or free to all current users of the previous software generation.

Although it probably won't come in CS5, and we will probably see it in CS6, id like to see a standard UI across all Adobes current major applications, looks and UI are not a major thing for me, but I hate how different After Effects and Premiere are from Photoshop and Illustrator in terms of there UI, it irks me just a little bit. This is also something Final Cut could stand to have is a new UI.

I'm in the exact opposite boat. I didn't upgrade from CS3 to CS4, so I've been waiting (impatiently) for this day for a while now.
