Hi all, I have a question about 'Uninstallation!

I have CS6 installed on my 2019 iMac. I have used CS6 for many years but am now at a point where I have to UNINSTALL. I haven't updated the iMac iOS for a long time because CS6 isn't compatible with anything after Mojave 10.14.6. Adobe now sells subscription-based apps, no more hard discs! I need to know what is the best way to UNINSTALL ALL the software related to the Adobe Creative Suite 6. I know it isn't just a case of sending the apps to the trash, its more involved than that.

If there is anyone who has either done it or has the right instructions to do it, and is happy to share I would be very grateful. I looked at the Adobe website and it cannot find what I need to know, largely I suspect because its not exactly current tech. I have also left messages on the Apple community.

There should be uninstaller with each app, but I find this is much simpler and faster and it pulls everything from everything.

Really handy lightweight tool. Just open it up, drop the application file in there and it pulls everything else and moves it to the trash

Further to the uninstallation of my CS6, I am now wondering if I have been a bit premature. I have now installed iOS Sonoma and all appears to working normally again, thankfully. I want to pass my CS6 onto someone else, but need to make sure the licences are deactivated before doing that. I have contacted Adobe and they have not been very helpful thus far. From what I understand from them, I have to reinstall iOS Mojave, reinstall the CS6 discs, then Deactivate the licences, then uninstall CS6 again, then reinstall iOS Sonoma. Even if that is possible it seems a pretty ludicrous thing to have to do. Does anyone know if this is the case?

First off iOS refers to the iPhone and iPad OS, for a computer it is just OS, or Mac OS.

Mojave is probably the last OS you can install CS6 on, so if you want to install to deactivate then you would need a supported OS. You could install in a VM, rather then actually wipe your computer. I am a bit surprised you cannot deactivate from your Adobe account when you are logged in, I could have sworn that was an option before.

No matter what you attempt to do now, there's no way to activate the CS6 licenses. Deactivated or not. A lot of people would have purchased your computer just to have CS6 on such a new machine.
