The security hole is a problem with Adobe Reader on the Windows Desktop OS. It doesn't affect iOS or Mac users.

Although there have been security problems with Adobe products on the Mac OS as well, don't forget :)

Adobe aren't really having the best of times recently, are they? :D I think they do care, it's just that they're finding it a bit hard to patch everything up.

I almost feel sorry for Adobe. If it wasn't for flash, I wouldn't be using any of their products at all.

True, most people don't use Photoshop, Lightroom, acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign etc

do you really want to get in to this.

Their time table at patching it better than anything Apple does. Take for example their patch to fix the iOS exploit. 2 weeks was a record for Apple. By most accounts 2 weeks is considered very poor and that is apples best turn around time for a Zero day.

I lied anyway. I use BBC iPlayer which is Adobe Air run.

So we've established you don't work in photography, or movie editing, or illustration, or publicity, or web design, or... anything creative for that matter.

And you don't ever seem to use PDFs.

Why are you even reading Adobe threads then ?

Because you might not use their products doesn't mean no one else does.

I was going to post something similar, but thought I'd get flamed. Apple's track record for security updates is not the best. Nor are they very communicative in what they're fixing.

I'm not saying is all that in terms of support and security, but I am saying is apple needs improvement.

I'm a music producer. I use Pro-Tools, Ableton Live and Reason.

I use preview to view PDF's.

Curiosity. I was only stating my opinion.

Because you might not use their products doesn't mean no one else does.
I never said that. Fool.
