My dad has finally decided to retire the Beige G3 at his office and get a new Power Mac. The only problem is that PageMaker is not ported to OS X yet and he uses that application fairly often in his work.
My main questions are as follows: Does anyone know if PageMaker is going to be ported to OS X in the future? Also, could InDesign, Adobe's new, professional page layout software, perform the same functions as PageMaker while easily sharing files with other users of PageMaker?
If anyone has any information, it would be appreciated. I have to decide in the next week or so whether to recommend the older Power Macs that still run OS 9/Classic, or not. Thanks
