Hello,

I am currently trying to use my educational license of Adobe Photoshop 7 with Leopard. It doesn't work. I don't think it will in the future. My question is...

Can I buy a Photoshop upgrade for $199.00. Will it work with an educational version of photoshop? After upgrading, will I have a full version of Photoshop?

Should I just use my money for Aperture instead?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure you can't use EDU versions for upgrade. You may want to double check that on the site.

The opposite is true with Adobe.

If you're no longer a student then you can buy the commercial upgrade. If you're still a student, then your upgrade path is to buy the current version at an education price.

Yeah, I think you're good to go. I even have a photographer buddy who used Photoshop 3 (that's not a typo) to upgrade to CS2!
