Hello,

I have questions to ask. Are there any reasons for using wide gamut monitors?

and

Do I have to use either P3 or Adobe RGB for photography especially printing?

Are there any reasons for using wide gamut monitors?

Yes, with a wide gamut monitor that is calibrated, you should accurately see the colors in your raw images which are typically shot with ProPhoto RGB (ultra wide) or Adobe RGB (wide) color spaces. Not aware of any monitor that will do 100% ProPhoto RGB. There are several that can do 100% Adobe RGB. 5k iMac is P3. Note that both Adobe RGB and DCI-P3 are wide color spaces, but not an exact match. Adobe RGB has history in photography while P3 is from the video world.

Depends on the quality of the original images (jpeg in sRGB vs raw in Prophoto or Adobe RGB).....and how much quality you want to achieve in the printed images. Most home printers are will only do sRGB.

So it wouldn't be matter if I use either P3 or Adobe RGB monitors to print with expansive printers and papers? I thought photo papers have less color space compared to sRGB.

Typically a printer will be sRGB colour space which is about 75% of Adobe RGB.
But it depends on your type of printer and if you print at home or send to a Lab.

What's your budget?
Money no object buy an Eizo CG monitor like the CG277.
On a budget? Look at something like the BenQ SW2700PT.

I use my P3 5k iMac to edit and print images that my camera captures in AdobeRGB. I set up my Canon Pixma Pro 1 printer with the ICC profile of the paper I will use. Then I tell the Lr's print module how to handle colors outside the sRGB color space..Perceptual or Relative.

Well I have two BenQ SW2700PT already but Im using Epson 4900 from my school. They have Eizo monitors which is 7 years old but I always get a professional level of prints easily at this moment but when I used P800, it couldnt handle colors cause it couldnt handle the wide color gamut. I changed the color space to sRGB but it was same. When I used 4900, there were no issues. Any idea why?
