I got a couple of questions. First of all the reason why i want to make a free app and then add some ads. Is because i am only 14 years and i don't want to do all the taxes stuff... so i thought that when you add ads to you free app you don't have to pay taxes. Is that right? just like having an google adsense account(you just get paid every month, ) and having ads on your website. Let me make this simple

1. Do you have to pay taxes if you make money using ads in you free app.

2. Is adding ads to your free app something that is done in Xcode.

3. Where exactly can i find some documentation about how it works and how to add these ads to my application

Thanks in advance

I don't know about Danish tax laws specifically but I think you'll find in most countries you have to pay income tax on your earnings if you earn over a certain amount, regardless of your age.

There are various ad services that have iPhone APIs, such as PinchMedia.

You are supposed to pay taxes on any earnings if you are in the US. Adding ads are done via xcode, and the different ad providers tend to have their own documentations. If you decide to go Google Adsense, please note that it is against their TOS and you are subject to have your account closed at any time.

you always have to pay taxes when you make money, it doesn't matter.
in germany you only have to pay taxes if your income is over 400€/month.

on the other hand, I am not sure if you even have to pay taxes if you are 14. you should ask someone who knows about these things in your country (your parents?)

Also, as you admitted in another thread, it is your dad who registered for the iPhone Developer Program. Therefore it is he, and not you, who is responsible for any tax implications.

Is it apple or the ad service that pays you. And do they take care of the taxes...

The ad service, why would Apple pay for something they have nothing to do with? You take care of all the taxes, the ad service doesn't do any of that for you.

Ohh i just thought that the ad service maybe transfered the money to Apple and... anyway thanks for the help
