What ever happened to the adventure game? You know, the real adventure games without hidden objects or match three games? Like Syberia, and so on?

Are there any good adventure games out there for the Mac?

Broken Age. The Deponia Trilogy. Botanicula. Machinarium. Book of Unwritten Tales. The TellTale games (Wolf Among Us, The Walking Dead, etc.). Broken Sword 5. The Night of the Rabbit. Edna & Harvey. The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav. And so on and so forth.

It's adventures galore.

Go here http://www.gog.com/

They have more games like you are seeking than you can shake a stick at, have fun and keep a tight hold on your wallet because that is one addictive site for the genre you seek.

Also, don't pass up ScummVM, an opensource interpreter for MANY old adventure games (Monkey Island, The Dig, Full Throttle, Sam and Max, etc).

If you still have them, dig them out and relive them again.

Not to mention, they have Beneath a Steel Sky and Flight of the Amazon Queen for free, legal, and native on your Mac.
