Hello,
I am taking the class CS50 on iTunes U.. and it has a C programming portion that I am just getting to. I have seen people say they are using their macs to learn C, but Xcode is crazy complicated.

Can I make the little "hello world" programs that we will be doing in this class? Doing it on my Powerbook woudl be ideal...

Or is there an easier way? I read elsewhere to get gcc and it is the standard.. but wow, that is crazy complicated to me.

My goal is to learn objective C.. but I want to learn some basics first.

Thanks for any advice!
Zeke
