Ok, since I put the kibosh on my Apple upgrade application, I have 2 options. I owe 718.00 to ATT for the X. I need to pay 143.00 to upgrade tonight. Should I now do this or just reapply and get the Apple upgrade program at 3AM and sell the iPhone X hopefully for 700.00 plus to cover it?

Assuming I get approved. What is your advice? I think it's cheaper going with Apple upgrade program with Apple care and selling the X. I can just swap the phone out on my line. My hart rate is elevated over this stuff lol. But, this would not be fun if it was not a challenge.

Thanks,
Tommy

I mean... I like the iPhone Upgrade Program more than AT&T’s financing. Just do that and sell your X for $700/$750 and use that to pay off the balance.

Easy. You should get approved.

All we pay is the tax up front? 90.00 around I think. I want the 256 MAX with the apple care and extra apple care thing for 4.00 a month.

I would opt out of apple care because I upgrade every year, but I can't.

Tax on the iPhone AND tax on AppleCare, up front. As well as the first month’s payment. Much more than $90 Lol.

Tax on applecare plus the iphone xs max say its retail around 1200 means roughly 90 bucks tax. Then plus the first month’s payment is roughly 140. Then plus any payments you may owe to make it 12 even payments before upgrade.

For me its gonna be like 190 total, for you maybe less.

$197.72 if you live in NYC.

Exactly. For me it’s $197 being in NYC.
[doublepost=1536893083][/doublepost]Hear me out:

When I bought the iPhone X in November 2017 my balance on iUP for my 7 Plus was $450.

Instead of just giving Apple my phone, I sold it privately for $600. Then I called AppleCare to cancel my plan and they gave me the $$$ for the months I didn’t use. That was another $70ish dollars. And I used all of that money to pay off the $450 balance, thus closing my loan and I was still able to upgrade to the X and begin a new iUP.

So I profited from doing the program and came out on top.
