Hello everyone,
I've received a MacBook Pro 2015 recently and it was fully operational, running Monterrey.
I upgraded the logic board from a i5 8Gb to i7 16gb. The issue I'm having is that the screen stays black when it's powered. The keyboard lights up, the chime sound is there, so no issues there. I went back and opened it up to see if I missed something, I unplugged the battery and ran the power adapter only and the Mac gives me the boot screen, I'm able to get in, I checked the about this Mac and everything is working there. So I turned it off to plug the battery once again and to my surprise it turns on but screen is black again, so I connected the power again and still black screen, it seems that it works only when plugged in to the power with the battery not hooked to the Mac, but if the battery is connected and the power adapter is connected it goes to the black screen, and if is the only the battery being used, it turns on but black screen.
Any ideas on why this is happening?
Thank you in advance.
