Hi-

I'm finally going to upgrade! I used to upgrade every 1-3 years. But I'm rocking 2017 so this is a big upgrade for me. Usually I buy the maxed out machines but the market has changed so much. I do need lots of storage. I usually use a lot of Adobe apps. A lot of video and photography.

Would love some processor and ram reco's. Also want to get longevity out of it.

well you answered your question basically, you need lot of everything so if money is not an issue get MAX with 64GB or 96GB if you are running low now and whatevery storage you want
there are not really 50 choices of CPU/RAM so there is not much other people could recommend

Look at your current RAM usage. Unused RAM is useless RAM so if you have 64 GB and only use less than 32 GB, then you could get away with less RAM.

For storage you are probably relying on external storage anyway so you don't need that much internal storage.

A bit more specifics on what apps you use would help. I have the 14" M1 Pro with 16gb RAM and 1tb SSD.

Can tell you for LR classic alone would get minimum 32gb RAM. Also if you export a lot (especially to online hosting such as Flickr), consider stepping up to the Max chip as I find my M1 Pro constrained (800% CPU) on exporting.

I'm fine with the lowly 1tb internal storage (currently with 2/3 free) but if you do a lot of video, you will likely need more.
