I have had my iMac since November and i love it.
I'd like to do a fresh install of Leopard to reduce sluggishness etc.
My iMac shipped with Tiger and came with the Mac OS X Upgrade DVD, CPU Drop-in DVD. I managed to upgrade to Leopard using the Upgrade DVD with no problems.
As i do not have a full copy of Leopard and just the Upgrade DVD, will this cause me problems if i choose to to a fresh install?
How will i go about achieving a fresh install of Leopard? Do i have to format the HD or will it just be a case of popping in the Upgrade DVD and following the on-screen instructions? The upgrade disc will probably only work if Tiger is detected? In my case it will not be. I don't want to buy a full copy of Leopard.
Also do you have any advice on backing up applications / system settings etc?
Thanks in advance.
