I need some advice. My MacBook pro 15" (2,66 GHz Intel Core i7, 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3, NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 512 MB, Intel HD Graphics 288 MB) developed a strange behaviour. When my external monitor is connected everything is fine. Starting my Laptop without, Adobe Indesign won’t start. I get the BeachBall & have to force quit the program. Going to System preferences turning automatic switching in energysaving off helps. I reseted Pram and SMC. Using the Hardware test on the utilitydisk doesn’t show any problems. Both graphic cards are shown in the system information. What can I do? How can I test the Intel HD Graphics for defects?! Or is it a software issue in switching between the graphicchips?!
