Advice on purchasing on a Display....

I'm looking to purchase a display around 21"-26" that can be used to connect to an XBOX, my 12" powerbook, satellite TV, and an XBOX 360 (not at the same time ). I don't know what i should go with LCD DLP CRT or just a regular TV. Im on a budget of about 550-600$. Any suggestions or tips i could get would be excellent.

Err, you won't be able to find a DLP 21-26" TV for <$600. DLPs are used for front projectors and rear projection TVs and it's rather silly to have a 21-26" PROJECTION TV. You might be able to barely swing a DLP front projector for $600 though. Make sure you keep the ambient light VERY low.

You probably should mention the resolution you're looking for. Cheap LCD TVs generally have pretty poor resolution: fine for TV watching, not so good for computer use. BTW, the cheap DLP front projector I mention above will likely have poor resolution for computer work too (~800x600).

I think it should be! This display has been selling at some very sweet prices and this is probably the best deal so far! Although it's not Apple, this display uses the same LCD panel as the Apple Cinema Display (20") - the rest of the electronics is different. Many users have reported being satisfied with the Dell display, and at this price, the widescreen is well worth it.
