Hello!
I’ve been considering upgrading my Mac Pro that from 2013 (the “trashcan” model) to something from the current line. I’m just not sure if it’s worth it or not.
It was essentially a maxed-out Mac Pro at the time of purchase, but obviously it’s many years old now.
It was primarily used for video editing and processing with Adobe Premier and After Effects at the time, however I stopped video editing about five years ago, so I no longer see the need for that.
My Apple Cinema Display is also starting to show its age. The mini display cable that is attached to the display is starting to get worn out, and the display itself is very large…. So is the Mac Pro itself.
Apple’s website says that i can have a trade-in value of up to $1,460, so the only issue I have is how a newer MacBook or iMac that is around that price rage would perform with games such as “League of Legends” or other such games that perhaps this current Mac Pro can play vs a newer smaller computer that I would be hopefully upgrading to.
Thank you so much for suggestions!
