I want some one who is experienced on the topic to tell me which VPN service should I sign up with. Many of them look like they are built by 2-man teams and very amateure .

Here is what is important to me:
-No logging or identifying me what so ever
-easy software for mac (preferable can work on iOS devices)
-no bandwidth limits (can use for torrent and netflix abroad)
-good customer support
-no connection drops (at least not on daily basis)

Also what is the difference between VPN and Torrent Proxy ?

I was advised to go with Express VPN.

I have nothing to hide to be honest, just paranoid

DDWRT on an old E2000, plugged into my Airport Extreme.

Has VPN built in. You can google for the startup scripts to make iPhone compatible.

Cust support via ddwrt forums.

Unlimited bandwidth.
Fast because dedicated to you, not shared.
Private, you control, takes you into home network.

Can authenticate and do banking, etc from any hotspot, cafe, airport, etc etc with peace of mind.

My GF is using for Hulu abroad in Switzerland right now, and my cousin who is teaching english in China as well.

I use Cloak. Another small shop but the service is great. They allow multiple devices simultaneously. Most VPN don't. Their pricing is pretty good (I pay $100 a year for unlimited usage via the iOS app). Most importantly their software is top notch (but Mac/iOS only). They're the only ones I've seen with the level of control offered by their iOS and Mac apps.

For example, their iOS app allows you to set which wifi networks you trust (no VPN). The rest will use VPN. Cellular is also an option (always/never trust). Very slick.

Private internet access. I actually get speed increases over VPN. 40mbps to over 100mbps depending on what server I connect to.
