I'm looking for a simple iPhone app for my mom to store her passwords in. She doesn't have a lot of passwords and is not a 'sophisticated' user so I'd like an app that's easy to use and not overly expensive.

Me—I use 1Password. However, I don't think it would be a good fit for my mom. It's quite a complex app when you think about it. Also, 1P gets weird when you want to store things that are not of the generic username/password combination.

Perhaps the best solution would be an app for storing encrypted notes. Anyone know a *polished* app in this category?

Unfortunately, all the proper ones that are encrypted are somewhat complex. I use data vault and it works great plus offers iCloud sync. It may so be too complex. There was a plain Jane one I download months ago that was very simple and not encrypted. Sounds like it fits the bill for you. But I forgot the name and had zero ratings.

Hello - I've been using Splash ID on my iPod Touch 2G for over 3 yrs now - also on my iPad 2 - purchased the desktop app which now resides on my new iMac - I find the program easy to use - there is a 'master password' to enter and that MUST be remembered - the data can be exported (I usually use the *.csv option) and viewed. :)

I use Notes.
Pretty secure i know  honestly no one knows my phone unlock code so its really not a huge deal. I also omit characters that I know for the passwords so its somewhat secure.

i dont know about an encrypted notes app, but i recommend Safety Note+ which can be password protected and also offers a good variety of features including icloud sync, memos, shopping lists and what not.

Fortify password manager

I have Fortify Password Manager on an iPad 2 and it works well. Now I want to transfer it to my iPad Air but it is no longer in the App Store or in my purchased app folder. Any suggestions on how I can transfer the app to the pad? Thank you
