Wondering if this OS update will be the “bridge too far” for this model or
 
Not sure what you mean, but it's running as smoothly on my 10.5 as iOS 13 was for me if that's what you're asking.
 
It's been running very well on my 10.5". No noticeable loss of performance compared to iPadOS 13. I'd even go so far as too say that system animations seem smoother on 14.
 
Upgraded mine. Although, not having spatial audio is kinda nagging me. I’ll upgrade next year :)

I do like some of the pencil improvements they’ve made. I finally started using my pencil during zoom meetings and presentations to make notes. Scribble functionality seems to work well.

What I mean by this is Apple has a tendency to allow major iOS updates on devices about one major rev longer than is advisable and that last major version ends up making the device essentially unusable and slow. There’s myriad websites and threads discussing this.

lol dont worry, i have it on my ipad 5th gen with A9 and its as fast as the day i got it with ios 10 (im also surprised)
 
Anyone else have feedback since iPadOS 14 has had some more updates? I’ve seen discussions about text input lag being bad and battery life being bad. Anyone experiencing these or other issues?
