Advise/Updated on Iphone 3GS usage in INDIA

Hi,

I am planning to get a iphone 3GS in UK from Orange & I am quite curious if this will work in India if I take a deal with Vodaphone? Also I have the following queries,

What are the disadvantages in iphone 3GS
What are the features which cannot be used in INDIA
How is the internet usage with Iphone in india
How good or bad is the network coverage in india ( I mean the 3G & GPRS or GPS which they call)

I would like to hear from PPL in India who have personally used this phone on Vodaphone.
Pls update me with the Positives & negatives about using Iphone in india.
