I want to use my old lcd computer display to show a slideshow from my 3rd gneration ipod nano, however the apple version is 30 dollars which is my opinion is way to much to pay for such a simple chord.

If anyone has a link please post it.

The iPod Nano cannot output to a VGA connector, even with the dock connector adapter.

What the hell is VGI?

You can use an 'Apple video cable', I guess that refers to the composite lead.

I meant to say DVI

My lcd monitor only has a DVI input so I need something that will let me get the slideshows from the ipod to my display.

Apple doesn't make dock to DVI leads...

What you could so, is get a dock to component/composite, then a component/composite to DVI adaptor.

Obviously you'll only get 480/576,i/p signal, so it will look like crap on your monitor.
