I feel like the golden boy needs to be returned. I bought the LG G2 about 3 weeks ago and thought the 5S would bring me back to Apple. I just can't seem to find excitement with iOS anymore. I have a 4s and a 5 I basically use as iPods and there's nothing about the 5s that stands out enough to justify the purchase. Touch ID is genius kind of...It's quick and so much easier than using the passcode.

That G2 just looks weird. How long did it take you to get adjusted to the buttons?

The g2's back is FUGLY..but i wont lie and say im not considering it when i make my annual jump to android

Not that long...Oddly enough your finger seems to rest there by default. You have to get used to which is up or down, but it comes.

It's really a sweet phone. I have the VZW version with wireless charging.

Cool. How's the UI? Looked a little too Touchwizzy, but does it perform?

Android in itself is not all that bad, and the phones are good too. The main thing i can't stand with Verizon is all the bloatware they put on android devices and the horrendously amount of time it take to send out the os updates. Sometimes a year after the os update comes out.

A gold Verizon iPhone? If iOS isn't doing it for you, you can fetch a pretty penny for that model. :)

This is why I think people should stop using Android as a blanket term. TouchWiz is a beast of its own. Android might be the source of inspiration, but it's very different. Regular Android has a way less features than Samsung adds. Situation reminds me of a life before everyone needed to have the same exact phone. I kind of hate that buying a phone has became iPhone or Galaxy these days.

If I were buying an Android, I'd go with a Nexus. The Nexus 5, if the rumors are correct, looks impressive. I had a Nexus One back in the day. It was nice, but Google abandoned it too soon (I guess since it was a relative flop). I also recommend the HTC One to buyers looking for Android.

I've tried to push a few people HTC's way. They won't budge. It always comes back to them getting another iPhone or trying the Galaxy.

The Nexus One way back when it was months of waiting for them to have a few to sell. I like the leaks from the Nexus 5 too, but I think I'll stick with the Moto X for right now. Might try the 5S in a few months.

The phone flies everywhere. I did root it and remove tons of bloat. Its sad all the stuff verizon puts on. Now its clear, its great.

I have att 32 gold

There's one perk of relocating most of the controls to the rear of the phone. The phone now looks like a plain, glass slab on the front with minimum bezels. :)
