I just rebooted my Mac running 15.1 beta and lo and behold, Apple Intelligence became disabled. I re-joined the waitlist and even after an hour, it is still in "You'll be notified when Apple Intelligence is available for your Mac" state.

You should write a tutorial on how you did that.. some of us don’t want that silly apple intelligence in the first place and would love to be able to disable it.
don't turn it on in the first place 👍

i don't need it (hmm, never say never), but i do want to check it out. if need be, i'd try 'siri, kill the AI...."....

I'm facing the same issue on my MacBook Pro. It's been more than 6 hours and still in the waitlist. Please do let me know if you figure out a solution to this glitch ( At least I'm hoping this is a glitch)

I rebooted again and it's back. Weird.

You will need to install macOS Sequoia 15.1 Developer Beta. You can do so by logging into developer.apple.com.

That matches my configuration, but it isn't on my computer. That's just an observation, not a complaint as I have no use for the intrusive ML to be everywhere. But I am curious if some users might have to take additional steps if they want to use it or just try it out.
