You're lucky. I just got my Sager 9880 back after being gone 3.5 months for repairs. Came back once, still broken. Got it yesterday, there is still a problem. I bet I will have to send it in again, and without getting upgraded...

Your experience is uncommon for Apple. Usually from some of the posters on this fora I get the impression that Apple routinely overnight replacement laptops like they are free!

Ring back and demand to know where is your free replacement, waiting 2 months for a repair job is unacceptable considering that is 1/6th of your warranty period. I'd try to demand at least a free 3 year Applecare extension if I were you. Hell, if I were you I'd just file a chargeback with my credit card company for "Merchandise returned" 3 weeks after I sent it in for return!

and don't forget, in CA, it is your right to get a refund or a replacement unit after "reasonable number of attempts" to fix your computer. details can be found on the service order.

also, by convention, apple usually issues replacement laptop if they can't rectify the problem within 3 wks.
